THEY'RE AT IT AGAIN!!!

 

With the recent success of Exeter’s Economic Director come attacks.  MR. Winham has done more in less than a year to push Exeter forward for new development than the town has done in the past 20 years.

I know some of the people who were against any development on the Epping Rd. because of the wetlands off sets supported tearing down the dam because of the Obama/Gore global warming/ climate change agenda.  Tearing down the dam is going to ruin a beautiful wetlands habitat for duck breeding and the many species that need the marshes and wetlands to survive so it is obvious it is not about water.

It doesn’t take too much to figure out that the people who are against the Epping Rd. TIFF are those people who are against any further development in Exeter.  It isn’t the water issue, it is the development issue.

MR. Winham was hired by Exeter to do a job and a very good job he has done.  If he can serve the town the way he has and puts in his 40 or so hours per week, I think he is entitled to do whatever he wants to do in his off time; quite bluntly I could care less if he worked in a house of ill repute as a short order cook.

I suspect he is being attacked, and it is obvious he is being attacked, because he makes the planning department look like second string non-development supporters.  He knows where Exeter needs to go for development which will benefit the whole Town not just the NiMBYS(not in my backyard group).

As of yet, I have not met or talked to Mr. Winham; but, I have seen his presentations and he is very good at what he does.

ROBERT EASTMAN: UNFIT FOR SELECTMAN IN EXETER!!!

            

In my opinion Mr. Eastman is no longer fit to serve the Town of Exeter.  The once capable Mr. Eastman has become part of the active lunatic fringe element in Exeter that has an intense hatred for the town manager and anybody on the Board of Selectman that will work together to move Exeter’s growth forward, while keeping our taxes down.  It is sad to see someone you once respected fall victim to his own deep rooted personal issues.  He has shown (when his personal issues overcome him) to have a mean streak that causes him to lash out at people who disagree with him and he is not above fabricating what rhetoric he needs to sound plausible.

The lunatic fringe tries to hide under the once proud Republican banner.  Some of this leadership is jokingly referred to as the “town drunk, the town nut and the town liar”; not always the best campaign team you want promoting your candidacy.

If you ever watch the selectmen’s meetings you will see that these are the same people who go to the selectmen’s meetings and try to promote all of their qualifications and how wonderful they are while complaining that the BOS will not put them on committees or boards.  I hate to tell them but these same people are thought of as being crazy, liars or drunks who have been rejected by the voters on numerous occasions; not always the qualities the board is looking for.

It is interesting to see members of the fringe writing letters of support for Mr. Eastman’s write in campaign that they have been planning for weeks.  Analyzing how this campaign was strategized it was done behind everybody’s backs in such a way that Mr. Eastman was not a declared candidate therefore there would not be any candidate forums so the voters could see and question who they were voting for or against.  This is so typical of the lunatic fringe/Free State way of circumventing and manipulating the time honored tradition of Exeter elections; this alone should disqualify anyone from being considered a serious candidate.

With Frank Ferraro off the board we do not need any more divisiveness by trying to set up bogus issues to attack other selectman or the Town Manager, enough is enough; we can wallow in the past history of Exeter politics or vote for someone who will lead Exeter into the future.

This is why I will be voting for Dan Chartrand for Selectman.

OOPSY IN EXETER!!!

 

People lie because they are liars; they make mistakes because they make decisions.  This is not a difficult concept to understand.

At the last deliberative session and after about a two hour discussion on the Epping Rd. TIF Warrant Article 14 came up on the election (names placed on the budget recommendations committee).  Nelson Lourenco stood up to make a motion and that was for him to step down and appoint Frank Ferraro in his place.  A single vote on that motion passed and a second vote was taken to place that warrant on the March ballot.

I was out of the room when that happened, probably just as well.

After I found out what happened alarm bells were going off that this may have been an illegal vote.  I might be wrong; but, I did check with some parliamentarians who agreed with my assessment that it was illegal.

In our opinion the right way to do this was to take a vote to accept Lourenco’s resignation and then vote on putting Ferraro on the budget committee; so what we did was two issues with one vote and that was the vote on the motion.

If I am right I do not blame any of the town officials or the voters.  After the TIF discussion I think everyone’s eyes were glazed over.  I do blame Lourenco and Ferraro for the underhanded tactics to get Ferraro on the budget committee when he probably would not be voted into or appointed to that position.  A short time before this Ferraro was at the mike professing to support “the process” and they conspired with a small group to violate “the process” and hoodwink the Exeter Voters.

There is a way to correct this and that is at Town Meeting in March is simply to vote NO on article 14, which votes on the names of people going on the budget committee and if article 14 fails, then the selectman would have to appoint the members of the budget committee.  The budget committee members and the voters should not be subjected to this type of FREE STATE MANUVERING NONSENSE; this is the kind of actions that the Free State group does to win an issue they can’t win any other way.

I have the greatest respect for the Town Moderator, the Town Clerk, and all the people that work hard to make democracy work in Exeter including the voters; but, the blatant actions by these people who’s strategy is to take advantage of them and the voters is inexcusable.

I will be voting no on article 14.

QUANDT'S OPINION!!!

I have been watching what is going on in the world and I am totally amazed at the stupidity, not only in the US, but by our allies.  Quite frankly there is just too much to write about or comment on. 

First, I believe the US is going to get hit and hit hard by a terrorist attack. We are so politically correct it is going to get us killed.  There should be travel restrictions to certain countries, including the US and if there is a hint of terrorist activities the passport should be revoked and the person not allowed back into this country again.  If Muslims that come into our country do not swear and agree to follow US laws and our Constitution they should not be allowed in; laws in our country are governed by the constitution, the courts, and legislative bodies; not the Koran.   No matter how much Obama tries to cover these atrocities and be the pr front man for the koraniacs, the American people are starting to see through it.

We cannot continue to see the atrocities that are being perpetuated by the rightful or wrongful interpretation of the Koran.  These need to be shown to the American public so they can make up their minds as to whether this is a peaceful religion or people who don’t know the difference between right or wrong.

I got a horrific email showing a young beautiful Christian Syrian girl who was tied to a bed by white clothe strips, gang raped by 20 Muslims, she was so bloodied I couldn’t tell if they had cut out her eyes but it looked like it, I couldn’t tell if she had her heart cut out (too bloody to see an incision) but a cross with Jesus was rammed down her throat. I guess the Koran isn’t very tolerant.  If this is the real war on women where are the Femi Nazis defending women’s rights or is that all about abortion and not religious rights?

I just saw another video where ISIS took two homosexuals to a very tall building throw them off one at a time and they went “splat” to the cheers of a very large crowd.  Where are the gay rights activists that pushed so had for gay rights and gay marriage?

I know how to be politically correct; but, I just can’t do it anymore we need to speak about the third world war that we are involved in.  We are not at war with Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, etc.  We are at war with the Muslim religion.  We don’t want to admit it and Obama hides from it; but, I believe it is now recognized as fact.

Let the people who follow Sharia Law who want to kill their teen age daughters because they want to wear makeup or listen to our strange American music do their thing; but, not in our country.

I think you have heard in the news how ISIS terror cells want to stage more attacks in the US, I would suspect they will attack areas that have strict gun control laws like California, NY, CT and DC.  I doubt if they would attack a café in TX because they might not make it through the door and then get buried on a pig farm; I don’t know if Texans are politically correct towards people who try to kill their families.

We will see if the American people will reject liberalism and political correctness and start thinking of a common sense approach to defending our country and ourselves.

It is very troubling when people when confronted with the facts refuse to believe them like in Ferguson, MO.  The situation was tragic, as is whenever anyone loses their life; but, there are personal situations where you can almost determine, early on, who will not make it through life.  I think this was one of those situations.

When looking at police training you must look at the force continuum which has 8-9 steps officers are trained in on the different levels of force, it goes all the way from officer presence up the ladder or around the circle depending on which model you are trained in, to lethal force.  I don’t have the time to do a police course on the issue; but, the Officer in Fergusson went by the book.  He saw two men walking in the road and told them to get on the side walk, what was the response, “I don’t give a F--- what you say”.  The Officer is notified of a robbery at a store with a description of the two subjects matching who he was already in contact with.  The Officer was over 6’ but the main subject was 6’6” and around 300 pounds, which under most normal circumstances would have allowed for an escalation of force based on the subject’s aggressiveness.  What I don’t know is did the Officer call for backup knowing he would have a hard time making an arrest, did he have pepper spray or a taser and could he get to them?

We know the rest; but was interesting was there was no credible testimony that the subject had his hands up and trying to surrender; but, was attacking the police officer and trying to steal his gun, that is lethal force justification.  The old statistics were that 25% of police officers that are killed are killed with their own gun, you put yourself in the Officers position and you make the call.

People are saying the officer should have been indicted and you can indict a ham sandwich.  You probably can indict a ham sandwich; but, you better have substantial evidence that will lead to a conviction or as a prosecutor you’re in trouble.

In short the facts do not support the angry black rhetoric that is being put out by Al Sharpton and some of the others, the old saying of “don’t confuse me with the facts, I know the truth”, has come into play.

 

NY I CAN’T BREATHE!!!

We have another individual who was around 300 pounds and well over 6’ selling individual cigarettes on a street corner that is not the issue to die over.  Supposedly was arrested numerous times for similar problems.  A passive handcuffing technique might have worked, that is “ sir I am placing you under arrest, please turn around and put your hands behind your back, if you think the cuffs are too tight tell me and I will adjust them”, that type of technique.  If the officers had prior knowledge that he was aggressive and a fighter then that technique is out the window.  Police are trained in the technique that the safest position to handcuff that is non cooperative is by placing the subject in the prone position (on their belly).  The problem with this is when you fighting a guy this big, with a big belly, you have to be concerned with positional asphyxia, that is when you have a big belly and when you’re forced down on your stomach all that weight pushes up against your diaphragm and you can’t breathe; couple that with a number of Officers trying to control him and hold him down and he suffocated.

Another sad case and loss of life, yes, criminal no, civil suit big time and it is a training issue, did any officer do anything criminal, not that I could testify to.

This is a very short rendition of what I saw in the news; but what is scary is race relations in the US have been set back about 50 yrs.  What I am afraid will happen is the KKK and white groups will grow in strength and all hell can break lose.  Race relations under Obama have gone bad and we still have two more years to survive his presidency and who knows about his legacy.
